Exton, PA, (September 8, 2021) – Red Rover today announced it has joined the UKG Connect Technology Partner Program, a collaborative ecosystem of technology providers working with UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) to deliver custom applications, solution extensions, and integrations that provide a simplified and more connected workplace experience.
Red Rover and UKG, a leading global provider of HCM, payroll, HR service delivery, and workforce management solutions, are mutually committed to excellence in school workforce management in support of student learning. Red Rover’s modern, intuitive solution was built from the ground up to manage complex K-12 schedules and attract and engage today’s substitutes. With this collaboration, K-12 districts using both Red Rover and UKG Ready can benefit from the integration of two best-in-class systems to support district operations, increase substitute fill rates, ensure continuous student learning, and enhance financial stewardship.
“Due to the worsening substitute shortage, teacher absences requiring substitutes are harder to fill, compromising student instruction. Through our partnership with UKG, districts can harness the two strongest actors in school workforce management to simplify employee absence management and substitute assignments, resulting in higher fill rates and smoother school days,” said Dani O’Shaughnessy, co-founder and managing director at Red Rover.
At the district level, Red Rover Absence Management software augments and complements the UKG Ready platform, eliminating the need for teachers to enter absence in two systems. Once an absence is logged in Red Rover, the system assigns a substitute — or multiple substitutes to fill an extended period of leave, if needed — and feeds the data into UKG Ready, triggering an automated workflow that delivers key information to the assigned substitute, including schedule, location, and lesson plans. Together, Red Rover and UKG Ready create time and attendance efficiencies that allow districts to spend less time on administrative processes and more time on academics, programs, and nurturing student success.
“At UKG, we build lifelong partnerships with our customers so they can create connected and meaningful experiences for their employees,” said Mike May, senior director of the UKG Connect Technology Partner Program at UKG. “By cultivating a highly engaged ecosystem of technology partners, we’re able to solve critical business problems in novel ways. This empowers our customers with more opportunities to improve the employee experience, achieve new operational efficiencies, and extend the value of their UKG investment.”
